VR Banken were the first German banking group to be active with its own crowdfunding offer. "Many-create-more" serves as the roof portal. Each of the 972 regional credit unions has the option of setting up its own crowdfunding platform with an individual domain from a given set of modules. So far, 139 banks have opted for their own local platform.

The platforms are aimed at social and charitable projects. The banks often participate in the financing of the projects in the form of “co-funding”.
