eCrowd.mk is an online service that enables the collection of donations by non-profit legal entities registered under the Law on Citizens’ Associations and Foundations (hereinafter: civil society organizations).
eCrowd.mk is a completely safe and reliable service, which is an intermediary between civil society organizations that collect donations and donors (citizens and companies).
On eCrowd.mk donations for the organizations and their projects can be collected only by the civil society organizations that have been registered and approved as credible.
The main idea of the service is to improve the culture of donation in Northern Macedonia by providing easy digital tools for it. Our agenda is to help CSOs become less dependent on foreign funds and more skilled in raising funds from citizens, in order to realize their innovative, creative and socially beneficial activities and projects.
eCrowd.mk was established as a goal of the project Make It Easy – Establishment of the first crowdfunding platform for civic initiatives in Northern Macedonia. The leading organization in the project is the Association for Digital Innovations and Transformations HAB Skopje (InnoHab), and as partners in the project participate 1) the Center for Economic Analysis, 2) the Food Bank, and 3) the Association of Specialists and Young Doctors (ASML).
InnoHub and partners are beneficiaries of financial support from the Civica Mobilitas program. Civica Mobilitas is a program of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) to support civil society in Macedonia, implemented by NIRAS from Denmark, the Macedonian Center for International Cooperation (MCIC) and FCG from Sweden. The goal of the program is for social change in Northern Macedonia to be driven by a strong civil society sector, active citizens and good cooperation with the authorities, resulting in more transparent, accountable and socially-inclusive governance at both central and local levels.
