Mystartr

MyStartr is a Malaysian-based crowdfunding platform established in 2012. Initially launched as a reward-based platform, it expanded into equity crowdfunding (ECF) in 2019 upon receiving approval from the Securities Commission Malaysia. Since then, MyStartr has facilitated fundraising for a diverse range of companies, including those in technology, food, and other sectors

Investors on MyStartr can participate in equity crowdfunding campaigns, allowing them to invest in early-stage and growth-stage companies. By investing, individuals become shareholders and have the potential to benefit from the company’s success. The platform provides necessary information to facilitate communication between issuers and investors, ensuring transparency throughout the investment process.

MyStartr offers businesses, particularly startups and SMEs, the opportunity to raise capital through equity crowdfunding. The platform provides end-to-end support, including guidance on campaign preparation, marketing, and compliance with regulatory requirements. This support aims to streamline the fundraising process and connect businesses with a broad community of investors.

Individuals aged 18 and above are eligible to invest on MyStartr.

Investors: MyStartr does not charge investors any processing fees for participating in campaigns.

Fundraisers: The platform charges issuers a success fee comprising 4% of the total funds raised in cash and an additional 2% in equity of the issuer.
