The success of participatory finance stems from its extreme simplicity: thanks to an easy-to-access and secure Internet platform, everyone can make a donation to financially support the project that is close to their heart and, why not, benefit in exchange from a counterpart.
On Zeste, project leaders recover the sums raised from the first euro collected – unlike the majority of platforms operating on the “All or nothing” model. The success of a campaign cannot, in our opinion, be judged exclusively on the basis of the “success rate”, which sometimes ignores the reality of the projects.
The Zeste team, made up of Aurélie and Jean-Philippe, supports each project leader upstream and throughout their campaign. This personalized support allows them to raise funds in the best conditions, relying on what makes them strong: their entourage, the community of people who share their values, and their users.
The Zeste platform was created in 2016 at the initiative of La Nef.
