GreenFund Holland is a crowdfunding platform that was founded in 2016. It differs from other crowdfunding platforms by the following:
– Only projects with a sustainable character are crowdfunded.
– Only projects with a proven track record and sufficient securities are crowdfunded. The classifications are A, B or C or low risk.
– GreenFund Holland does not charge administration or other costs. This is the case with other platforms, which means that the apparently higher interest with them can turn out to be considerably lower.
GreenFund Holland keeps a guarantee capital in reserve.This capital is composed of external funds; sourced from and managed by the shareholders. It is supplemented by the annual profit. If a project is unable to repay the money invested, money is first collected through the collateral of the project. Subsequently, the remainder of the deposited amount is supplemented from the guarantee capital. The invested amount is then paid out to the investors. The guarantee capital is sufficient to guarantee the investment of a few projects. If several projects fail at the same time, the guarantee capital cannot be used. Incidentally, during the existence of GreenFund Holland it has not yet happened that a project has failed, all projects have so far been paid on time and in full.
